Conroy the hero for Dark Blues

Dundee recorded a 1-0 win over Raith thanks to a late goal from Ryan Conroy.

Raith had the first sight of goal after 22 minutes but John Baird's long-range effort was easily saved by Rab Douglas.

Leighton Mcintosh tried his luck from distance after the restart, but the Dundee striker's shot sailed harmlessly wide.

Dundee came close to breaking the deadlock after 73 minutes, but Nicholas Riley's strike was well saved by David McGurn.

McGurn kept Raith level two minutes later with a wonderful save, tipping Stephen O'Donnell's powerful drive around the post.

But Dundee were not be denied, and Riley's left-wing cross was met by Conroy, who planted his header into the bottom corner.
