Peterhead's disappointing start to the season continued with the visitors scoring a late winner to take all three points.

Rovers had completely dominated the first half and should have comfortably been in front at the break. Man of the match Ian Harty missed a sitter after six minutes when he hit the advertising board behind the goal rather than the net from ten yards out. He then saw a shot well saved by home keeper Paul Mathers.

Peterhead were barely in the game and their one chance fell to Martin Wood who shot wide from a Bobby Linn cross.

Peterhead were a lot livelier from the restart, mainly thanks to substitute Graeme Sharp. The speedy winger set up Dougie Cameron before crossing for Iain Good who headed off the post. He should have scored himself in the fifty third minute but shot over the crossbar after racing clear. Substitute Stuart McKay could have scored with his first touch but volleyed past the left-hand post from another Lynn cross.

Just when the game looked to be heading for a stalemate Rovers scored in the eighty third minute when a Sean Kilgannon corner from the right was bundled into the net from close range by defender Kevin Fotheringham
