Livingston raise the Barr

Raith stay bottom of the Scottish Division One table after Craig Barr's first goal of the season earned Livingston a 1-0 away win.

The hosts nearly took the lead on 23 minutes when Denis Prychynenko's 25-yard free-kick struck the crossbar.

But it was Gary Bollan's side who went ahead when, on 56 minutes, Barr rose to head home Mark Fotheringham's inswinging corner.

Kyle Jacobs almost extended Livingston's lead in the 72nd minute, forcing David McGurn into a good save with a close-range effort.

Andrew McNeil then made a great save, four minutes later, to keep out John Baird's 20-yard strike to help preserve Livingston's lead and earn his side their first away win since October.

Raith meanwhile have won just one of their last seven games.
