Raith snatch last-gasp point

Pat Clarke's 95th-minute penalty earned Raith a 1-1 draw at runaway First Division leaders Ross County, a point that could prove vital in their attempts to avoid relegation.

Following a goalless first half, Rovers goalkeeper David McGurn needed to be alert to tip Paul Lawson's dipping 50th-minute corner over the crossbar.

Michael Fraser kept out Grant Murray's close-range header two minutes later before McGurn again needed to be at full stretch to push Gary Miller's 20-yard effort round a post.

McGurn was unable however to stop Lawson's driven effort from the edge of the area five minutes from time as the Staggies closed in on their seventh win in eight games.

But, after Scott Morrison fouled substitute Jamie Walker in stoppage time, Clarke stepped up to grab Raith a point with the last kick of the game.
